My name is Allison Johnson. Thank you for taking the time to stop by my website Pin Up Weddings. I am very honored to have your visit. So that we may become more acquainted, I would like to share a little about myself and my passion as a photographer.
I grew up in a small city called Salinas. In 1997 I came to sunny Sacramento to find a career that could satisfy my passion of taking pictures. I found it by pursuing Photography in college.
I started taking photo classes the same year I arrived in the big city. Photographing people revealed, for me, the niche that I was seeking. I knew I was addicted.
While in college I worked as a photofinisher, which means that I printed my own photos along with other peoples’ work. I learned a great deal about exposure and color balancing. Lighting is a major component for getting the maximum in ever frame and natural light is, without question, the best tool a photographer could have. I have the eye and experience for using light to the best advantage.
In 2000 I started photographing weddings. Since then I have acquired a certain rhythm to getting all the shots: from artistic portraits to traditional family formals. I absolutely love photographing weddings because it is such a great way of giving my service to a couple and their families who want to capture the moment of their special occasion.
As your photographer I pride myself in capturing shots that not only “Tell YOUR Story”; but also those out of the ordinary shots that remind you of just how beautiful you are. My goal is to, as close as the camera and I can, capture YOU and your happiness. When you look back at your pictures of your big day, both you and your spouse will remember just how wonderful you both felt. The quality of my photography will reflect your memories.
